Rebirth Planner

Rebirth is the highest-impact decision in +1 Strength to Tug of War after basic equipment purchases. Reset too early and you waste permanent multiplier potential; reset too late and every step feels sluggish compared with what a rebirth would have granted. This page hosts an on-page Rebirth Planner calculator plus interpretation tips so you can align resets with Tough Guy Studio’s weekly Saturday updates.

Read the full rebirth guide first for requirement types (Strength totals, tug-of-war wins, world gates). Then return here to compare scenarios.

What the rebirth planner does

The planner helps you answer four questions before clicking reset in-game:

  1. Do I meet stated rebirth requirements right now?
  2. How many minutes will cheapest S-tier upgrades take pre- versus post-rebirth?
  3. What permanent multiplier do I gain, and how does it stack with previous rebirths?
  4. Should I wait for the next equipment tier or reset immediately after Saturday patches?

Enter your current Strength, estimated Strength per minute while walking your usual controls loop, rebirth count, and the next multiplier shown in the rebirth menu. The tool projects recovery time—not exact server math, because live patches can change constants without notice.

How to use the planner step by step

Step 1 — Capture a baseline walk rate

Walk your standard route for five minutes without opening unrelated menus. Note Strength gained divided by minutes. Repeat once after equipping a new multiplier from the tier list to see how gear changed the rate.

Step 2 — Enter requirements from the rebirth menu

Open the in-game rebirth UI and copy Strength, win, or world requirements exactly. If the menu shows a rebirth count gate, include it. Do not guess numbers from old videos—Saturday updates change thresholds (updates hub).

Step 3 — Compare upgrade versus rebirth

Plug the cost of your next S-tier upgrade from the upgrade priority guide into the planner’s optional field. If buying that upgrade takes less time than the rebirth recovery window and you still meet reset requirements afterward, buying first is often correct.

Step 4 — Plan post-rebirth shopping

After a projected reset, list the three cheapest multipliers you will rebuy immediately. The planner highlights when empty equipment slots would delay recovery beyond one session.

Reading planner output responsibly

The calculator uses community formulas and your inputs. It is not an official Tough Guy Studio tool. Treat output as directional:

  • Green-style recommendation: rebirth now; recovery shorter than continuing current tier grind.
  • Yellow-style recommendation: one more affordable S-tier purchase, then rebirth.
  • Red-style recommendation: requirements unmet or recovery longer than staying—keep walking.

Always cross-check with live menus before confirming. If a code grants a limited boost, rerun the planner with boosted Strength per minute before spending the boost window on a reset.

After you rebirth

Follow the recovery checklist from the rebirth guide:

  • Re-equip pets that persist through resets.
  • Rebuy step multipliers before duel-only gear.
  • Resume the same movement loop; changing routes mid-recovery adds friction.
  • Log Saturday patch notes in case rebirth bonuses change while you climb back.

Pair recovery with verified codes if an update drops new rewards—never paste random loadstrings from social media (scripts safety).

When not to use the planner

  • First ten minutes in World 1: focus on getting started and first equipment purchases instead.
  • Immediately after a patch: wait until patch notes are summarized on updates so constants match the tool.
  • If you consider third-party automation: stop—use legal progression paths documented on this wiki.

Bookmark this page before major play sessions. A five-minute planner check beats a hasty reset that costs an entire evening of walking.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Only if you adjust Strength per minute manually to reflect active boosts from verified codes on the codes page.
